Lifetime

The series “Intemporel” by Leblanc invites a deep reflection on life and the passage of time, adopting a unique visual approach. Inspired by old black and white films, where prisoners mark the time on the wall of their cell with lines, the artist uses this visual narrative as the foundation for life stories. Leblanc employs these groups of crossed-out lines to symbolize the passage of time. He expresses human experiences and emotions through colorful splotches, illustrating the ups and downs of life, as well as the intensity and duration of individual experiences.

At certain moments, time seems to dissolve into emotion, getting lost and then found again in these color impastos. Each painting thus becomes a personal interpretation of a specific stage of life, encouraging the viewer to embark on a journey of introspection.

Each work tells the story of the human adventure! In his triptychs, Leblanc divides life into three distinct phases (0-30 years, 30-60 years, and 60 years and older), allowing the audience to recognize their own journey.

The timeline is engraved through explosions of color.
